Overview
I designed a healthcare professional (HCP) email for Johnson & Johnson as part of a branded educational campaign focused on long-acting injectables (LAIs) for the treatment of schizophrenia. The email needed to balance engagement, education, and strict regulatory requirements while maintaining clarity and visual hierarchy for a clinical audience
The Problem
Pharmaceutical HCP emails often contain dense clinical content, long safety disclosures, and multiple objectives, which can overwhelm readers. The challenge was to create an email that felt clear, credible, and engaging while accommodating extensive Important Safety Information (ISI) and prescribing details without compromising usability
The Solution
I designed a structured, modular email layout that clearly separated educational messaging, peer testimonials, and calls to action from regulatory content. The design uses strong visual hierarchy, white space, and consistent typography to guide HCPs through the message while ensuring compliance visibility.

My Approach
Outcome
The final email design delivered a clear, compliant, and engaging experience for healthcare professionals while accommodating extensive clinical and safety content. The structured layout improved scannability, helped guide readers to key educational messages, and supported stronger engagement with the Choices & Voices™ video content. By balancing brand standards, regulatory requirements, and user-centered design, the email reinforced credibility, improved message clarity, and demonstrated effective UX design within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
